1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UXLens (the "Service"), provided by UXLens ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

UXLens is a SaaS tool that analyzes the user experience and user interface of websites you submit. The Service captures page content, applies AI-driven analysis, and produces a report with findings and scores. The Service is provided for informational and improvement purposes and does not constitute legal, accessibility compliance, or professional advice.

3. Acceptable Use

• You may only audit websites that you own, operate, or have explicit permission to evaluate.
• You must not use UXLens to scan, probe, or otherwise access sites in a manner that violates applicable law or the target site's terms.
• You must not attempt to overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure.
• You must not resell, sublicense, or redistribute audit results as a competing service without our written consent.
• You are solely responsible for the URLs you submit and any consequences of auditing them.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and authentication token confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us promptly at info@uxlens.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

5. Payment, Credits & Plans

• UXLens offers credit-based and monthly subscription plans. Pricing is displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Credits entitle you to a set number of audits and expire if unused for 12 months from purchase.
• Monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
• All fees are stated in USD unless otherwise noted and are exclusive of applicable taxes.

6. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of a new subscription or credit purchase, provided you have not consumed more than 25% of the included audits. To request a refund, email info@uxlens.io within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep UXLens available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may experience outages, maintenance windows, or limitations due to factors including third-party providers (Supabase, OpenRouter, Fly.io), network conditions, or rate limits. We are not liable for downtime or for results delayed by upstream providers.

8. Intellectual Property

UXLens, including its software, design, scoring methodology, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the audit reports generated from your submitted URLs and may use them internally. We may use aggregated, de-identified audit data to improve the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UXLens and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or otherwise create risk or legal exposure for us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
